Just a simple question; do you paint cavalry with seperate rider and horse or glue first the rider to the horse and paint them together?

Up till recently I always have done it separate. Some time ago I painted a few horses and riders together after gluing and found out that works as well for me.
(I am talking about 15 mm)

On smaller sizes 10 mm and down the cavalry mini's are sometimes casted as one, the horse and rider I mean.
For 28mm miniatures I would always paint them separate.

28mm I paint separately; 15mm I usually paint together; 6mm will always be painted together because that is how they are cast.

Together. Prime and paint it as one piece is much faster for me.

Always together whether 28mm or 15mm.

Always together; all scales
