See there is this interesting thing about ACW counterfactuals. They all assume the US by losing the war becomes fataly wounded as a potential major power. I really question that. And even with British and French support I really question if the CSA would be willing to brave a 1 on 1 fight with the USA. Especailly if the divergence point is 1863 or 1864.

Interesting point. The South doesn't contribute much to the US economy in the Gilded Age. All the economic development is in the North East. The South remains an isolated backwater, really until the 1960's.
