"Klingon and Romulan fleets for 5150: Star Navy" Topic

Recently, caught up on some painting. I have finally (touch wood) completed my Klingon & Romulan fleets for 5150: Star Navy. Only taken me about three years to get this far.

First up, the Klingons –

Nice fleets!

Recognise most of the minis, but can you tell me what the two ships to the aft/starboard of the FASA D-18 destroyer are? Perhaps a closeup pic of them please?

Trynda1701. I recognize the ships. They are from Irregular Miniatures in England. They had some Trek looking ships. Mainly Federation, but they did have two that could be passed off as Klingon and those are one of the two. Sorry I can not recall the name of the ships, but if you check out Irregular Miniatures you will see the ships.

@trynda Sorry for not replying sooner. As green beanie says they are Irregular Miniatures.

All I did was to trim the wings to give them a more slender look.

I regularly freak out when trying to look these up; they're under 6MM, Science Fiction and Spaceships. I'm always thinking 'they've stopped the spaceships?!?!', then settle down for a hunt.

These are DYO3 (also on the URL of the piccie) the other similar is DYO2, but DYO15 is a usable ersatz Klingon Bird of Prey.

DYO16 will never be a Fireball XL-5…

You get great service from Irregular, but their website does need reworking.

I've ordered from GZG, Brigade Models, Kallistra, and Irregular [apologies to any I've missed], and never a problem with a Brit spaceship supplier.

No thanks to some weird postal/customs interfaces, I must add.

Come to think of it, I've been damn lucky all over for spaceships.

Of course, most could stand some work on the web side. ;->=

Thanks for your replies. I recognised the other rearmost Klingons as the Irregular minis, but couldn't make out the modification Norrins did of trimming off most of the wings. Cool mod for another design, Sir!
