Good job with the striped trousers and gray beard on the last guy. These are things I have a hard time painting so they look right. I also like the way the axe blades look.

Thx Grelber. Those particular stripes were a bit of a challenge I set myself by way of practice for some ornate work I am doing soon. Three stripes in light colours is quite difficult but the right brush and paint consistency helps a lot. Glaze medium or a little extender is your friend for stripes. I've seen a lot of painters use tiny brushes for stripes or very long thin 'Rigger' brushes. In the end I did them with the same brush I used on the rest of the figure, a size '0' Raphael 8408.
What I normally do when it comes to painting stripes is start off with a slightly darker colour and then paint a slightly lighter colour stripe down the middle. It gives the illusion of a harder edge. In this case the stripes were just too narrow…..and my eyes were tired lol.

Great painting Fizzy! These lovely figures shine with your brushwork. I'm not sure if its the lighting but I do like the hint of blue in the chainmail too.
