My gaming group will start a Peninsular campaign for which I will be one of the french players. I intend to build a late peninsular army that can also be used for Waterloo (or the other way round – I'm looking at Vandamme at Ligny).

My mainstay will be Perry figures, but I was wandering if I could use the new WG Late french infantry for variety.

Does anyone have any experience with these?

The Warlord Games figures are quick and easy to build. Good for bulking up your army.

I would have no worries using them with Perry figures. There are some comparison photos here….

That's a useful pic Cerdic, thanks. It looks like they're all pretty compatible except Alban. Brave of them to try to start a new scale but surely commercial suicide?

Yes. It us a shame because the Alban figures are really nice!

I reckon you can get away with using one or two in a skirmish line to represent a couple of small blokes, though!
