"The multi-nation military exercise "Anaconda" will begin in Poland on Sept. 24, with the participation of 12,500 soldiers, including 750 from abroad. According to Polish Press Agency (PAP), the equipment to be used include more than 120 armored personnel carriers, 50 rocket launchers, anti-craft sets, 17 vessels, including submarines, and 25 aircraft, including helicopters, fighters, and multi-purpose aircraft…"

As odd as it may sound to some. If I was still on active duty and 25 years younger … I would have liked to participate in such an exercise. It would be a good experience for professional soldiers, like REFORGER & TEAM SPIRIT[twice], both of which I was player in those large FTXs. A good place to work with allies, learn the terrain, etc. … It is part of what real soldiers do …
