May I ask which paint people use for 'bronze' coloured cannon barrels please?

Having just finished 16 Prussian Napoleonic cannon recently, here is what I did.
I start with Decoart Venetian Gold.
First Highlight, half Venetian Gold and half Delta Ceramcoat 14K gold.
Second Highlight, Ceramcoat 14K Gold.

I paint my gun barrels dark brown. When dry, drybrush with Games Workshop Burnished Gold.

If they end up too bright, I give them a wash with watered-down Games Workshop Flesh Wash or Future Floor Polish with a tiny bit of diluted burnt umber acrylic paint.

I use the Foundry Bronze Barrel triad. First the base colour, then a black wash, then the next 2 layers. It's subtle and not that bright, polished gold look that you see quite often.

If they end up "too bright" it means you have artillery NCO's who know their duty.

And I use Ceramcoat Kim Gold.

Thank you for the suggestions.
Will experiment a little.

Once games with a bloke who painted all his gun barrels a light grey/green. He'd seen the guns at Gettysburg National Battlefield Memorial and assumed that what colour they should be. We informed him that's weathering, but I don't know if he ever changed them.

Like Bandolier, I used the Foundry Bronze Barrel triad, with some dilute Windsor & Newton Ink washes ('Peat Brown'). The results look like this:

Foundry Bronze Napoleonic barrel for me also:

Although I did use Vallejo bronze with a GW brown wash for these in 15mm:

With an Agrax Earthshade wash between the second and third use of the Foundry triad in my case, I should hasten to add.

I can't stop staring at Greystreak's second photo – it really does look as though it was taken in a museum…

the older the barrel the more darker it would get to appear almost blackish, causing confusion for the Austrian Army where a lot of people believe that the barrels were black but they were brass indeed
