Hi all,

Our club had it's annual Pirates in September event last weekend. 13 ships and 5 garrisons duked it out in a no-holds-barred race to see who would be the first to complete their missions, hazarding ghost ships, maelstroms and yellow fever, not to mention other ships!

The rules used were modified Legens of the High Seas.

For a full AAR you can read more on the blog

Rosif, in your picture 37 there are two Eureka figures (male). One is drinking from a cup. The other is holding a quill pen and a book. Is the one holding the pen and book a modification or did it come that way. In either case, please tell me which of the Eureka collections that figure came from. I thought I knew the Eureka stuff really well, but I've never seen it. Great piece. Richard

Maelstrom? Perhaps someone was inspired by my blog – and the photos of "Mikey the Maelstrom". Or not. Very cool game.
