Has anyone read this series? If so your thoughts.

Haven't read this yet, but did read the Trafalgar series which I enjoyed, very much a "Wing Commander" type of feel to it. I'll look into Empire's Core.

I read them as they come out. He writes them pretty quickly. Don't expect great literature, but they are good stories. I am never sure what universe his books are in. A lot of them seem to revolve around the downfall of the Empire, but involve totally different people.
He was heading towards a confrontation between two groups with several of the books, then went off on a totally different story with several books, but still in the same universe.
If you want a REALLY good story, try This Corner of the Universe and its two sequels. Some of the best science fiction I have read in years. This is more ship combat, not the marines like in Nuttall's books.

Thanks, I'll try them but I do like the Marines getting some.
