Progress continues to be made, hopefully I'll get some gaming done soon. Have a look at my blog: link |

Ah, the brigade is taking shape and with a few artillery pieces it will be battle ready. Nice feeling. Cheers, |

@timurilank I plan on using Neil Thomas' Napoleonic rules where an 'army' consists of 8 units. I hope to double up on army sizes in due course. In my mind a unit could be a company, a battalion, a brigade or whatever. An 'army' then could be a battalion, a brigade or even a division. I won't be sure until I get a feel for the game once I have played it a few times. It's a bit like Forest Gumps box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get. |

What is the width of your bases? |
JimDuncanUK | 11 Sep 2014 3:40 p.m. PST |
40mm frontage per base, 4 bases per unit (8 close order infantry figures per base) 30mm depth for close order and cavalry, 20mm depth for light troops (4 cavalry or light infantry figures per base) probably 30mm square for artillery (1 gun and 4 crew) |

Jim, I really like your 10mm AWI. I would love to do AWI in 10mm, but I just got too old to see and paint them. |

@GROSSMAN Am confused. Where have you seen 10mm AWI figures that you think I have done? I have never, ever done AWI in any scale. The figures mentioned in my post are Napoleonic, a mixture of Peninsular and Waterloo periods. Age wise, I am 64 and I find that I can paint 10mm quite satisfactorily using ordinary +3.5 reading glasses. Consult an optician to see what they would recommend for you. |
