This is the latest unit that I've added to my Napoleonic collection, and if I'm honest tested me towards the end. I don't want to paint anymore Highlanders for a while lol. Hope you like.

Truly superb, and beyond this OFM's skill level!

By the way, are the colours by Flag Dude? They really match the energy of the battalion. Great for their action at Corunna.

Now after that you should do a bunch of Prussians…you need a break. Fantastic work. I love your lining of white belts with black, that sergeant, their facial expressions……even just the photography!

Why the white water bottles? Have they faded in the sun+++?

Fizzypickles10 Sep 2014 1:52 p.m. PST

Good job sir! Always good to see the jocks holding the thin red line.

It's also quite nice to get a unit of kilts completed!!

wrgmr110 Sep 2014 3:49 p.m. PST

NIce Job! I second the comment about not wanting to do any Highlanders for a while. I painted up 2 units of 24 and those stressed me out. LOL

archiduque14 Sep 2014 7:03 a.m. PST

I love the Highlanders but hate painting them( I have 2 battalions myself). You have done a most excellent job with them and should be very proud of your work.
