If the intention was to wrote in spanish, it could be "Arabes Asesinos".

LOL! Nothing says inconspicuous assassin like big, curvy, easily seen knives! Even the most inept guard would see this guy coming a mile away.

Now if he were dressed in every day wear, but you caught a glimpse of a dagger perhaps partially hidden by his arm or sleeve or maybe holding a small vial of poison, that would be an assassin. This is more Assassin's Creed – Crusades edition!

We already had Assassins Creed – Crusades Edition. It was called Assassins Creed :P

I love the Ninja rules in Ronin for representing Assassins… they can be in this kind of getup, and fight, but there are far more possibilities in subterfuge.

Hello all!

@FreemanL I'll agree with you 100%, and that's exactly what this miniature meant to represent. Shieldwolf is creating an army game, Angelos is writing/correcting/self-editing etc etc books for various armies quite some time now, amongst which the Arabian faction -which in Greek would be pronounced "araves" and "assassinos" would also be a Greeklish translation of what Tango01 correctly pointed out-. This is a Greek company so you should expect many terms like this. :-)

A very small leak of our Araves fluff for the Assassinos: These are assassins hired to kill very important people. Since their targets are guarded and surrounded by trustworthy folk -and thus very hard to kill-, these are the best of their kind.
Usually if they fail they get caught and killed, but the very few that get imprisoned may be spared if they serve their lords in battle. Thus, they are armed to the teeth -carrying various VERY interesting and innovative gadgets-, since they show up in battle behind the ranks but ready to cut through and pin-point death vs an enemy captain/hero/lord/general/banner bearer/etc etc.

And a gameplay leak: This can happen even if the enemy character is hiding up to 2 ranks behind! If the Assassinos (or this infiltrating type of troop) manages to succeed, he runs away on his own behind enemy ranks. If he however fails, he receives a single attack from each and every model touching his/her base. And usually that's a lot of attacks… ;-)

Edit: Thank you for reading and commenting, there's something great cooking at our HQ, so keep in touch, we hope you'll like it :-)
