Someone should perhaps tell them that the weapons mount was a fixed casemate, not a rotating turret.

Nah, more fun this way!

@ Jemina Fawr

For manufacturing purposes the turret is separate. The pictures were taken with the fighting compartment in rotated positions to display the model…. The 25 pdr did have a traverse of 8 degrees.

Hi Jeff,

I fully understand that the manufacturing process requires it to be made in two parts, but I'd recommend alligning the two pieces correctly for the catalogue shots.

The 8 degree traverse was for the gun itself within the casemate – the casemate was fixed.

This is the Weird War version. The casting looks wonderful. Very nice.

In the catalogue it will, Jemima, and yes I am aware that the traverse was for the gun inside the fighting compartment.

Jeff, sorry for hijacking this but what ever happened to the German passenger car that you were working on along with the line of After 45 vehicles? At least I thought that is what you called it.

Jeff at JTFM Enterprises07 Sep 2014 12:49 p.m. PST

The moulds are completed for both the passenger car and the After 45 range Joe. It's just finding the time to get everything cast along with all my other commitments.

Right now I have moulds set for 15 new releases not including this and 2 other vehicles I previewed on our Facebook page.

I think the rear doors should be openable as well?

Jeff at JTFM Enterprises08 Sep 2014 6:15 a.m. PST

That would have required making a multi piece model of the fighting compartment with a complete interior and a detailed gun, feasable but not practical, projectmayhem,
