On MAA, Elite and Warrior titles.

I will admit that I have not been keeping up on my Osprey books the last few years.
What is "new" (let's say… 5-6 years old maximum?) that I should be picking up.
I hear that there is a Loyalist or two. How about militia or Elite Minutemen or Hessians?
You just know that if there is one MAA book, that the same author has probably done a Warrior or Elite from the same shoebox full of notes.
Hey, that is what they did with Zulus and Jacobites!

Seriously, what is out there that I need to put on my bookshelf?
Flags? Spanish?

I don't have any specific recommendations, but Osprey does have a pdf of all of their titles on their website, and if you start at the high numbers in each line and work backwards, that'll should tell you what is new.

The new Loyalist is actually pretty good. the Continental stuff,not so much.
Still no Hessian/German AWI book..

I bought the Swamp Fox raid book, but it didn't tell me much I didn't already know. Not as visually impressive as Ospreys often are.

The Wabash and Fallen Timbers Campaign books are solid hits. I appreciated Wabash the most because it shed most light on the earliest stages of the US Army, whereas Wayne's Legion is better covered already in multiple sources. Some useful material on the Whiskey Rebellion appeared in the Wabash book.

If you haven't already got it, pick up Rene Chartrand's three-part Men At Arms series American Colonial Troops 1610-1774. There's lots of stuff I've never seen anywhere else.
