"August/September seem to be Kickstarter months" Topic

This is more of an observation than a pithy statement, but in the last year I've backed one KS, but in the last 10 days I've backed five (5)!

I have my KS account open in another window, and looking back, last August/September I backed a bunch, and the August/September before that I backed a bunch (Reaper Bones #1 was the gateway drug). I'm up to 13 total, and all but last winter's came in this time period.

Weird timing, or it's the Reaper thing getting me paying attention to Kickstarters.

FWIW currently I'm on Reaper CAV, Menhir Games 28mm non-Euro fantasy, the ZN fantasy airships, Chaos in Cochise County, and Yan'drassi sci-fi in 15mm.

The Cav kickstarter and Eli's one have made it more interesting of late. There's also Antenoceti's coming up, a 15mm human sci fi infantry one on the horizon, and eventually Car Wars.

Yes it does seem all happen around September/october then March/april

I'm also waiting on Westwinds secrets of the 3rd Reich second edition

I am reluctant to start too many though as I've backed 6 now one is still live and only 1 has delivered

My luck has been pretty good, Crocodile Games is the only one way behind for me (and the stupid space elevator one, but that isn't gaming related and I only put in $10 USD).
