Beautifully painted.
One question; someone told me that the banners and standards in this period had a pole along the top, so that they were always "flying". Does anyone know if that was the case?

Hi Dave, I'm not an expert and hopefully someone will be able to correct me.

As far as I can tell, some did and some didn't and no one really knows which ones did however it seems to be more prevalent earlier in the middle ages. I give a mix of both when I put the flagsheets together so people can come to their own conclusions.

Hi Dave, I've closed the webstore down for now as I've been unable to put the time into it that it needs. In the meantime I've been selling most of the flags I have completed on ebay.

I'm also thinking about selling blank sheets so people can print their own cloth flags.
