Beautifully painted. One question; someone told me that the banners and standards in this period had a pole along the top, so that they were always "flying". Does anyone know if that was the case? |

Hi Dave, I'm not an expert and hopefully someone will be able to correct me. As far as I can tell, some did and some didn't and no one really knows which ones did however it seems to be more prevalent earlier in the middle ages. I give a mix of both when I put the flagsheets together so people can come to their own conclusions. cheers Pete |

Hi Dave, I've closed the webstore down for now as I've been unable to put the time into it that it needs. In the meantime I've been selling most of the flags I have completed on ebay. I'm also thinking about selling blank sheets so people can print their own cloth flags. cheers Pete |
