I have been formatting the new edition of Irregular Wars and thought I'd share a few sample pictures to allow people a sneak peek of the changes.

Other than new layout and illustrations, are there any major changes between the first and the new edition? I just purchased the first edition a few months ago and didn't know a second edition was coming.

Excellent! Really looking forward to these.

Hi Hydra Studios,

Yes, there are some pretty substantial changes to the phase sequence (now only shooting, 'actions', and melee), and quite a few other major changes which make the game more streamlined.

There are ten new armies and all existing factions have been revised (small changes only) and have introductory notes to help would-be commanders on their way.

It is a fairly large overhaul.

I will try to arrange it with Martin at Vexilia that people who have bought the previous version will only pay a small 'upgrade' price to get the latest version. That is what we did with the change from version 1.0 to 1.5.

Shouldn't be a problem. :-)
