I had a couple of small orders to Bicorn/Connoisseur miniatures and Essex, assembling some odds and ends that I needed for my Historicon games. They were small enough it was sensible to get a few extra figures to offset the minimum shipping charges. Most of them wound up being Artillery Crew.
French Coastal Artillery, 1809. These Connoisseur figures are fairly old school, but the medium green color of the facings and pants is pretty outrageous! After one of the Funken plates, and evidently, Knoetel as well.
French Artillerie a Pied de la Garde, in the shakos worn from 1808 until the introduction of the better known bearskin in 1810. 28mm Essex figures (Sash and Saber guns) More on my blog at: link Peter |

I have a few of their Command figures too on the painting table – I'm always looking for variety there! |

Peter, Really good looking units. Paul and myself are also working on artillery units for our troops. John |
