I've finished a unit of AWI militia using Galloping Major's excellent F&IW figures: link Tarleton Quarter's been struck with various "real life" scenarios this year, but I'm hoping posts will speed up a bit now. Giles |

Apart from anything else, you've nailed the civilian shades of their clothing. Great work as always. |

Great painting, Giles. I mixed these in with my Over Mountain Men to make scads of Militia units. When I get up the nerve, I plan to do some head removals and replace the heads with KMM heads for more variety. |

Go easy on painting your AWI buildings white. That is much more common in the early 19th century with the Greek Revival movement than the 18th century. With the "whitening of America" in the 1830's many earlier buildings got the white treatment to make them more fashionable, in some cases painting the front and sides of the house white while leaving the back in its original colour. |
