"Looking for a club in St Andrews/Fife" Topic

I'm trying to get into wargaming and am looking for a nearby club. I live near St Andrews. I've been to a club at Leuchars before, years ago, but I don't know if they still exist with the RAF base closure or how to get in touch with them. Are there any clubs around my area?

There is still a club at Leuchars although they have dropped the RAF part of their name.

They don't have a strong web presence but I'll try and get a message to them for you.

The Leuchars club still exists, it has droped the RAF name, and is planning to become associated with the Army once they move in. We discussed a web site, but decided to wait until changes over the next year are finished before launching one. As I understand it, we are not actively recruiting, but won't run people off if they want to come along. Main meetings are Thursday evenings at Leuchars, usually a big club game, and there are other spin-off games other times in the week. I've alerted Jed (General Jumbo) to check in here and provide more info.

There were two clubs here for a while, it depends which one you are referring to.
The official one is still ongoing, as many have reported above, but we are not recruiting at the moment, due to uncertainties over our future (ie loss of premises, shifting membership, impending doom, etc).
