I had quite a productive weekend and finally finished off my 15mm Battletech lance, all four mechs have been converted and several parts scratch built or remodeled to get them how i wanted them to look, heads have been reworked some power cables have been added alternative weapons and hands replaced and they are all differently posed. Ive taken a few snaps of them at different angles so that you can see some of the work that i carried out on them, i hope you like them. Zac PS: The arms have not been permanently attached yet for ease of painting.

I see what you meant by that Banshee. If you haven't assembled it, what about a spacer between the torso and pelvis to give it some height? Glad to see your putting the Atlas to use (don't feel bad, I haven't painted any of my mecha in years either) |

That's not 15mm! That's N-scale (~1:160 instead of 1:100)… |

That's what I'm talking about! Yes, they are N scale but most however, cross scale quite nicely. |

I see what you meant by that Banshee. If you haven't assembled it, what about a spacer between the torso and pelvis to give it some height? I took the Banshee apart and rebased it, i added a few washers under the foot of the forward leg to raise the model by a few mm's i also played around with a few ideas about adding some sort of spacer at the waist but they just made the model look a bit odd so i just gave it a slight tordo twist and had done with it. That's not 15mm! That's N-scale (~1:160 instead of 1:100)… Yes these models are meant to be N scale but their scale is not set in stone, the Banshee as already mentioned is quite a bit shorter than what it should be and the Zeus is a bit to tall, a standard 15mm figure comes up to the ankle of the Zeus which is about the right size and scale for a Battletech mech.

I still have all that stuff in a box. I have a lot of mechs too. |

Really great looking lance you have there. I love seeing battlemechs in scales other than 6mm. I use rebased mechwarrior models (which are 10mm/N scale) I'm curious about how they would compare in height. how tall is the Atlas? Will you be using them with Battletech rules or some others? |

how tall is the Atlas? The Atlas is 4" tall from the bottom of the foot to top of the communications dish. Will you be using them with Battletech rules or some others? Probably a few different sets of rules that allow for mech's i just thought it would be a bit different to have the opportunity of hosting a 15mm Battletech contingent, i have the most of the regular infantrymen now, i still need ten more to make up a platoon and i'm also seriously thinking about swapping out the Banshee for a Stalker, i doubt that ill use them for large scale Battletech games but if the chance ever arises… :) Zac |

I use rebased mechwarrior models (which are 10mm/N scale) I'm curious about how they would compare in height. how tall is the Atlas? They were designed to be "in scale" with the old WKG models. But some feature a sightly larger cockpit area to blur the lines between 10mm and 15mm models. |
