1st Annual KOZCON Bolt Action Tournament
GENERAL
• Open tournament
• 3 Rounds of 2.15 Hrs
• First round starts 9:30 AM
• Forces will be matched up Axis v Allies where possible
ARMY / FORCE SELECTION
• 1000 pt army lists from a nation specific army book or an official BA supplemental list.
• Each army list can consist of either ONE(1) Armor Platoon from Tank War OR up to TWO (2) Reinforced platoons from an army book. Theatre selectors may be used for the reinforced platoons.
TOURNAMENT RULES
• - Warplanes Rules (no air observers) are being used. Link: warlordgames.com/rules-warpl … lt-action/
• - Split Transport Rules are being used. Link: link
• Weapons classed as Heavy or greater require a tow.
• Reaction Fire House rule: Reaction fire to an assault is being played using Ambush rules ie. the defender can chose to fire (execute its fire order) at any point during the attacker's assault move rather than at the moment the defender declares the reaction fire.
• Heroes & Legends and Vehicular experience are NOT being used.
WINNING & VICTORY CONDITIONS
• Objectives will be used to determine victory conditions.
• Two of the three games REQUIRE infantry units with at least 3 men in the unit to secure objectives.
• A unit must be IN CONTACT with an objective to secure it.
• Some games will have secondary or optional objectives.
• Tournament rank and score will be based on a cumulative score from achieving objectives.
• Prizes will be given for Best General and Best Painted Army.
MODELS / FIGURES:
• All figures should be recognizable of the period (World War 2) and ~28mm in scale. Vehicles should be between 1:60th to 1:48th scale.
• Unpainted or partially painted models and figures, are highly discouraged and generally frowned upon. A good explanation like I just started playing BA will be accepted.
• 1-2 Loaner armies may be available.
