Does anyone know of any on-line resources and/or books in English that cover the clothing (or uniforms where applicable), flags, and equipment of Dutch troops of the 1655-1665 period?

(I have been through the NY Public Library collection already.)

Did you try the military archive at Brown University in Rhode Island?
Looks like that library is closed for renovations, well link anyways:

Not in direct answer to your query, but this book gives useful background information to the military development at that time. Olaf van Nimwegen is a regarded authority of the period.

The Dutch Military Museum has been closed pending changes, possible relocation.

Many of the websites, such as Military Wiki and Dutch Regiments Org are not functioning anymore, but the Wayback Machine did pull them up. Unfortunately, the good stuff has not been archived.

I would suggest using the following Dutch search terms,

Uniformen en Vaandels 1660

this will pull up more information, then use Google Translation.

Good Luck.

There is a large set of plates of different periods at the Leger Museum by 'Raa, F.J.G. ten':

They aren't labelled very well, but among them are a set that are from around the time period you mention. See p. 4, 19, 20, 21 & 22 for a couple.
