A couple of photos and something approaching an AAR for Irregular Wars 2nd Ed.

Unfortunately I seem to have forgotten to take photos just as the game started to unravel for me… :(

Good report and photos up to a point. : )

What figures are you using?
They look nice.

In ths armies I have a mix of (in descending order) Grumpy, Essex, Museum Miniatures.

Grumpy miniatures are just about my favourites for 15mm colonial warfare.

Oh! And some Donnington priests for the Spanish too.

timurilank23 Aug 2014 11:13 a.m. PST

Thanks for that.

I see the mounted are indeed Essex, then the foot (Dutch) are Grumpy?

My own early colonial activity is set in South America between Spanish and the locals. The British were sold so I could eventually collect the Portuguese.

However, the steel bonnets look very cool.

Yes, those Dutch foot are Grumpy Portuguese.

Good stuff.
Any hint on a release date for 2nd ed?

The plan is to have the rules available from the very start of December.

It is being proof read by several parties at the moment and I know that there are several responses that I still need to get around too (it has been a rather hectic month). Presuming there is nothing too unexpected, December looks likely.
