Alien Dungeon says it's 15mm, but looking at the scale comparison pic here TMP link it's way off. 18mm some folks are saying. But then Scott Washburn notes that the Blue Moon 18mm WWI minis are "bigger and huskier" than the AQotMF infantry. I'm confuzzled. What lines of WWI minis (infantry and tanks) will look good alongside the Alien Dungeon minis? |

It's basically HO – ie. 1/87 scale. Blue Moon are definitely the nearest match. |

According to the rules its 18mm so you can buy HO buildings/extra's and they will scale up. |

According to the rules its 18mm That's funny: according to their kickstarter, it's 15mm. What's a few millimeters between friends, right? ;) I have a bunch of MBA 15mm buildings that I intended to use, plus it would be nice to use various 15mm WWI minis out there as well. 18mm makes that a little dodgier, assuming I want to use any of Alien Dungeon's tanks or infantry, I suppose. |

You know what, my mistake as it never directly says "18mm" in the rules. Its only really applied to in the modeling section that says "slightly larger take on the traditional 15mm miniature to take advantage of the huge amount of HO scale model railroad terrain." Though I could swear I read 18mm directly from them. No biggy as you said, whats a few millimeters. I've never put a FOW or Blue Moon figure side by side to my doughboys, I might need to do that. I don't think it will be a major, sizable difference if you use one or the other side by side. Yeah I wouldn't mix AD doughboys with Blue Moon's on the same base, but on different bases it should be fine. |

In my opinion, they are taller than most 15mm, but the sculpting style is not the 'bulky' style of most metal 15mm and 20mm's. The figures work well with 1/87 buildings, but I agree, they look thin next to the Blue Moon 18mm figures. |

I have a bunch of MBA too, both European and American buildings. They match up fine with the figures…. |

I ordered the British 60pdr and the MK1 gun carrier from Blue Moon for my AQOTMF and I would say the figures are very close in height but the Blue moon are beefier the the AQOTMF figures. But I think they still match well on the table IMHO. |
