In my quest to assemble a western town composed of laser cut MDF kits from varied manufacturers, I've come across a company called Blotz. They appear to offer 28mm buildings of high detail and quality but I'd feel safer ordering from them if they came recommended. Has anyone on this forum bought one of their buildings? If so, can you offer any comment on the quality of it please? |

Never heard of them but I can't even find the building on their web site. Not sure what is up with that as they do have assembly instructions for them. |

There seem to be lots of reviews of their work on a simple Google search: link |

Never heard of them but I can't even find the building on their web site. There's a note on the "Home" page of their site – they're having problems with the Laser Cutter, so they have temporarily disabled all Laser-cut items on the site. |

Ahh that explains it, thanks. |

No problem! And for anyone else, the link to their site: blotz.co.uk …since I'd never heard of them before either. |

I have the Blotz large saloon which I picked up ready built so I can't comment on any build problems. I think it was a pre-production one to test to see if everything fitted together OK. It compares well with other makes of MDF old west buildings size wise and is fairly sturdy construction. I would be happy to buy another of their buildings if I needed any more. |

I know it is an older thread but anyway… I purchased some of their carts/waggons (market barrow #1 & #2, artillery caisson, gypsy caravan) last year and was finally able to assemble them over the weekend. Nice little kits that go together well. Although some parts were not cut all the way through which made it a bit more difficult than it should be. Now they need some paint. |
