to celebrate my recent retirement, I got a little roll of cash and ordered a large order to finish the Crimean war project that has been dorment thru 2 deployments and the demise of minifigs US. cant wait to get my greasy grubby hands on 13 batteries of artillery boocoo French and turks and yes more Russians for Clays Russians. Thank you minifigs…… I hope to have the final 1800 or so finished before my 56th birthday (18 months). if your going to be a one trick pony, then do it right. Soon I am going to start buying the recasts of the old "S" range. I had some in 1973!

Congratulations on retirement! I hope to do so soon. Might have to work part-time in the civilian sector for a little bit but who knows. Crimean War sounds like a terrific project to work on as you ease into a life-style of wargaming leisure. grin

I have ideas to do civil war battle scenarios using crimean armies, with a lot less trees……..after all, isn't that what wargaming is all about? Work something different what ifs?
