And the latest addition to my Bauhaus forces (I promise to give you some respite for a couple of days)… the Grizzly tank:

Here is the usual pre-view (but as always there is more clickable shots on the blog, including details like the kill rings, ammo rack and so on…):

That is one marvelous looking tank!

Neat looking tank

What poor chap gets to shot that MG down at the rear of the tank? Looks a bit cramped (presumably an automated gun!)

Thanks guys!

@ Frederick: I hope it is remote controlled, otherwise the gunner would be lying with his behind right under the engine! wink

This thing would have made a perfect WH40KRT Imperial Army heavy battle tank… or with a bright red paint job and some appropriate modifications, an Ork super heavy war wagon (the Grots and Gretchens can handle the cramped gun stations as necessary)…evil grin

I can only imagine what those scuppered tracks would do to a paved surface!

BlackWidowPilot… I think there is a benefit if you can have tiny green tankers! evil grin

Lion in the Stars… I sir would not want to drive right behind it!

The problem is that the model is only the size of a Leman Russ when it should be the size of a Landraider riding on the back of a Baneblade. It's also pretty pricy given the size of the thing. On the other hand the original Grizzly would be too big for skirmish games.

I would have loved it a bit larger… maybe two inches in every direction. I could live with the price tag since I got it at the 10% off-during the Kickstarter, if I would pay the regular price now… well it would depend if my group starts allowing the use of Heavies in games, but then again… I wanted one nearly twenty years ago. wink

Wait, that thing is only the size of a Leman Russ???
Interest has just been Decimated. That's ridiculous. That really should be a rival for the Baneblade. David J got it absolutely right.

I have mixed feelings. The Leman Russ is really a big tank, it dwarfs the 28mm Tiger from Bolt Action. On the other hand the Warzone Ressurection figures are pretty big too. I'm not sure how the pricing was set out but it's likely a model they don't expect to sell very many of and the moulds for PVC are expensive compared to those for resin or metal. But at the current price you could probably do it in metal.
