Reading part of the Task Force Tarawa accounts about the combat around An Nasiriyah there is a mention that the SEAL rescue force arrived in small 6 wheeled armoured vehicles (that were smaller than LAVs). Any idea what was in use in 2003 ?

It was the Armoured Ground Mobility System (AGMS), better known as the Pandur. Purchased for JSOC units and still in use today. Basically a custom Pandur I with appliqué armour and lots of other classified enhancements.
