Does anyone have any information on the Drummer's Uniform of the French Regiment Navarre during the War of the Spanish Succession. Did they wear the Royally Livery? |

As a Provincial regiment, as with the Royal regiments, the kings livery was worn. Regiments named after their colonel had a mix of liveries, most of which are now, sadly, unknown. This apparently continued through most of the 18th century. Hope this helps. |

Correct! – the drummers lace got a bit fancier by the 7YW according to Osprey, but at the time of the WSS it seems to have been as in the first picture on this excellent site: link |
