If it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing, right? Love it :) |

Oh Goodie, Guns, lots of Guns (& rockets/missile). Think the phase: "No ota, No!" comes to mind. Have to add to shopping list. |

I just got my order from you guys. If I knew this was coming out too, I'd have held off for a bit. Also maybe AH-47 instead of UH? |

Love it! Very Space-Apache! In a good way… No nomenclature is a pet peeve of mine… So, as panzersomethingsomething already mentioned why using U (stands for Utility) instead of A (for Attack i.e. tactical air to ground) for the basic mission code? More importantly (from a keeping my disbelief suspended point of view) why the H (helicopter) as a vehicle type? I guess you could go with V (VTOL/STOL) or S (Spaceplane) or even consider that in the future spacecraft have replaced fixed-wing as the default vehicle type and give them no vehicle type code. And if you go with the later but still want a two letter code, give them a secondary mission code like M (for "multi-mission", the euphemism for special operations in the current incarnation of the US aircraft designation system) or R (for Reconnaissance like thy did for the Comanche)… The 1962 United States Tri-Service aircraft designation system on Wikipedia Just my two cents… |

To stay on topic: Can you mount the what looks like gunpods and rocket at the same time, or is it a one weapon per station thing? Neither looks quite wide enough to take up the whole thing. To fly off topic: In my internal spacefiction setting, the H designation was kept: 1. Out of simple administrative apathy. It hovers, it attacks, whatever it's an AH something or other. 2. It's actually H for "hover capable" vs the other short takeoff platforms *winkwink* 3. To circumvent future USAF attempts to steal the platform by classifying it as helicopter, which the Army can have under the Key West agreement, vs armed fixed wing assets, which it cannot have. OH is more popular for most recon-esque helicopters so far though. |

I like that it looks very much how i would imagine a near future VTOL gunship like the Apache to look like and those sharp angles keep its appearance similar to that of the Cheyenne Aliens dropship. I am a bit curious as to were those separate weapon parts go i don't see a mounting position for them. |

Zac, I am betting the rocket faces come off and those on the table go in their place. See the pylon is swept back and the accessories have an angled monting face? U could use magnets to switch and swap them out for the mission at hand. Make sense? Grimm |

Hi everyone, thanks for the great feedback! The designation isn't set in stone… and I like everyone ideas, so i'll probably change it up. I'd love to hear more suggestions! As for the weapons… attached right now are underslung missiles, side chainguns, nose-mounted autcannon, and front missiles. These are all separate, along with the two other options shows that would take the place of the missiles. I think magnetizing everything would actually be pretty easy and would really allow for customization. |

If it's re-entry capable, I like using 'D' for dropship instead of 'H' for helicopter. UD4 Cheyenne (Utility Dropship) AD17 Bearcat or AD19 Cougar (Attack Dropships) CD22 'Mighty Mouse' (Cargo Dropship) |

Here is my take on designations for your products… Or at least something like what I'm going to use for my own made-up universe! C-14D Raven (the main variant of the Raven currently in use with regular units) and M-14E Dark Raven (a spec ops variant used by the Hell Divers) U-47B Hawk (a recon VTOL used by regular units, without the riders benches), M-47C Dark Hawk (the spec ops variants with the benches) and A-47D Falcon (the upcoming attack variants) D-1A Boxer (the drop pod) and DQ-7C Bulldog (the drop drone) |

How do you know there is an AH pilot in a crowded room, don't worry he'll tell you! In the mean time that is some sweet ride there! |

Tangent: I noticed ya'll do Helldiver decals. While I'm currently making due with leftover Flames of War decals for noseart and the like for my scifi vehicles, maybe a generic VTOL decal set wouldn't be a bad place to go next with new products? Even just some suitably generic looking markings, a few names (Shirley perhaps for Eli), and some borrowed WW2 art. |
