"War and Empire any news?" Topic

I missed out on the kickstarter, but I have not found any recent news about War and Empire ie: when will these actually be for sale to the rest of us.

It's almost here, I spoke to WW the other day

They have done 2 beta versions of rules and in process of working on next from feedback

Model wise Andy has about 6 weeks worth of sculpting to finish I believe

Heresy brush is painting the figures for the pics (they look awesome check ww and heresy brush on Facebook)

they have not opened the pledge manager yet to the kickstarters they are doing a web based shop for people to do there pledge and are setting this up (hopefully will have pics of painted figs)

Then they have to pack and ship and will probably be generally available after this (I expect will be by end of year)

I've got a ton of unpainted ancients. Is there any info on official basing?

Info from the latest update (39) of the kickstarter says that they hope to have their web based shop up and running, with photos of many of the figures as soon as possible. This will be for the kickstarter backers to select their order.

They hope to be sending out the pledge fulfillment orders in November/December. The earlier the better as far as I am concerned, as I expect about 2,000 figures being delivered to my door.

Once the orders for the backers are out, I would expect them to go on general release.

From the pictures that I have seen of the figures either painted or just grey undercoated, they do look very good. Even if you have no intention of using their rules, I have no doubt that these figures will sell themselves.

It has been mentioned that further armies may be produced in time.
