In this scale I personaly do not gloss coat before applying the decal. I do use Micro sol and micro set then seal with dull coat….soak decal in warm water apply micro sol to area where you want to place the decal, using tweezers or toothpick pin whatever you use to slide the decal from its paper backing onto the micro sol. Check that decal is strait and bubble free as the micro sol will quickly have the decal settleing into the paint and cracks of the models surface if your happy let it dry for a short period then apply micro set which will further cause the decal to bite into the surface. when dry you will have a decal that looks like it was applied at the factory and not a decal |

I use Future/Klear before and after applying decals (with 24 hours of drying before and after applying the decals). |
