Wow, great looking game with nicely painted troops! Not sure how I missed this post. Tough game for Bauhaus. Hussars have generally been really solid troops in most editions of the rules. How do you think they stack up in the new version? You guys used all the cards or just the basic ones? I do really like the new figs. You certainly did them justice. Any further thoughts on the rules or Army lists in your games so far? Thanks, John |

Hi John, Thanks for the nice comments! All in all I think, that Bauhaus is a solid force. Unfortunately they are just that right now. A lot of the other forces have units with abilities that allow them to be exceptional at firing, taking damage or recovering from damage. That is something lacking with Bauhaus. But I guess that is the way it is right now. I think things will get better when new units are released. The biggest problem with the rules I see right now is that in the advanced game (the one using the cards) which we played, it is best to kill the opposing warlord ASAP, which leads to people just following that one tactic. All in all I am extremely happy with the rules and with what they have done with Warzone. They are fun and with a little fine tuning on the part of Prodos they will be absolutely great! |

How large of games do you think the rules allow for? My love of 1st edition was due to it allowing for small to medium games as well as large ones. Well, yeah there are other reasons too. I'm just hoping this set might do the same thing. I'm happy that Prodos is running with Warzone. It was sure dead before. I just hope there is a chance is gains some traction in the marketplace. Thanks, John |

I think the sky is the limit when it comes to the maximum game size. Minimum… i think that is harder right now. I think you can play with a Starterset vs. another, but if you want to play a small points based game I would say anything below 750pts is hard for some factions these days. Since the game was only released a few months ago the amount of troop types is still a bit limited, which makes it hard to build a really diverse force below that, but again with more troop types being released, that should get better, too. And I can only second your last comments. I know some people bashed them for their Kickstarter, but seeing how other Kickstarters are being run they did really fine. Plus they learned a lot for their AvP Kickstarter and doing a great job with the post-KS work. I could not be happier and as you say… they and the game deserve more traction on the market. Cheers, Burkhard |
