Max, truly, your affection for the French hussars is evident in your attention to detail, unit composition and careful colour selection. Your photo method of arranging the figure so their full dress glory can be admired from different perspectives is wonderful. Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed your blog, too.

C'est magnifique!

I have them in 6mm – him certainly don't compare to your great work – and I agree, thanks for the views from different angles – we can see them in all their glory

Very nice! I just realized that none of the 15mm-18mm figure makers that I buy have cavalry sappers!! Dang! They would look so cool on a command stand! Should've gone with 28s! LOL

Thanks for your comments. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

It's a pity that figure makers don't always produce sappers… I'm looking for a 28mm French dragoon sapper, but it's hard to find…

Wargames Foundry used to have dragoon sappers in their old pack (old codes FN246X elite company command pre 1812 and FN252X elite comp command post 1812) that was in the days they still had 4 figures in a cav. pack so I am not sure if they still are in the command packs now, but you can contact the foundry maybe.
Love youer work on the hussards, splendid, I am also a great fan of the hussar style, I have all French regiments 1-11th, some of the finest uniforms of the period.
