I know of two but are there others?

DeltaBravo12 Aug 2014 1:00 p.m. PST

Beaufort is a recent-ish one, if it's not on your list.

There is a pretty good one called "Lebanon" about a tank crew in the 1982 War.

Irish Marine12 Aug 2014 1:23 p.m. PST

Wasn't there a realistic cartoon of some sort about tankers or some other arm? I am certain I have heard of it on TMP in the past.

Waltz with Bashir is the animated one. It's also partly about the 1982 Lebanon War.

Fatman12 Aug 2014 2:03 p.m. PST

Hill 24 Doesn't Answer (1955) the first Israeli feature film,

Kippur (2000)

Waltz With Bashir (2008) Animated but thought provoking.

Beaufort (2007)

Cup Final and Zaytoun are about Israeli Prisoners/Hostages and Jagger and Yossi is about Israeli attitudes towards gays set against the background of an an Israeli outpost on the Lebanese border.

I don't understand if you refer to Israeli produced or just moovies concerning Israel history..
in the first case i remenber a moovie saw, during the Nineties, maybe presented at the Venice Festival wich related in a very realistic way the Yomm Kipur war..but it was quite boring ..minimalist..a lot of mud..maybe because very realistic
i cannot detain myself to mention "Munich"..which, in a certain way, spoke about War carried abroad..a splendid moovie that i saw 3 times and confirmed me the admiration i still have for this Country

The only one I know of is Operation Thunderbolt, about the raid on Entebbe.
