I hope he hasn't fallen afoul of some ne'erdowell

Perhaps he got lost in the Sudan?

I miss him too. And Cory and Hamm.

The good General will be back. He has plans for something a little different though. We are going to be doing adventures in the South Pacific in the 1930's. Bill is planning on playing the first installment in a couple of weeks.

We also have a large Sudan game planed for Sept 13th. It should be a good time.

I also forgot to mention that Bill was over at my house this past week for a photo shoot for the Pettygree blog using my Egyptian and jungle scenery. He said it should be up soon.

The "General" I miss is "Major General Tremorden Rederring".

Yes, I know that one can still get glimpses of that wonderful website using the "Wayback Machine" (such as the following):

. . . but that still means that we won't get any new posts . . . *sigh*.

The South Pacific? Gad, do let the good General know a most hearty welcome awaits him in the dominion Of New Zealand then :)
