I have put together a few buildings for Old West games. I plan to add a few more eventually and add some details to these.

You can see more pictures on my blog. link

Very nice. I'm very ham-fisted when it comes to making buildings so I have to rely on bought products.
The water tower reminds me of the first convention I ever went to back in the 1980s. There was a 54mm Old West participation game that included a water tower (and the obligatory guy with a rifle taking pot shots at people) since then I've always thought no town looks right without one.
I also like the name 'Salvation Falls'. I can't remember for the life of me the name I came up with for my planned town when I started thinking about it a while ago. So I might have to 'borrow' yours.

Really nice looking buildings. The use of actual wood pieces brings them to life. Just the right balance of squared corners /straight lines and rough cut pieces. Great!

Sean,

They look great! What rules do you plan on using?

Thanks for the kind words. These were fun to build and I'm looking forward to adding a few more buildings.

@Onomarches: I have used a home brew based on GASLIGHT for the games I have run. I got a copy of Legends of the Old West, but I'm not sure that will work for my local group. Any suggestions?

@Terrement: That is a good list of ideas. Thanks! I just winged it when building these. I learned a lot as I progressed. The SAGA building on my blog is the most recently built and details the basic method I use. All but one building is built using a foamcore base and it is pretty sturdy all by itself. The wood is really just added to make the buildings look appropriate. I'm sure it offers some structure, but it isn't necessary for that.

Nice work! Are these scratch built or kits? If scratch built, I'm impressed with your measurements! Everything is lined up nice and square. Mine are always a bit, um, sub-contracted…

Also, I'm going to hire Terrement as my urban planner when next I add to my town.

@CIA Games: These are scratch built. I'm glad you like them.
