They are very naif but i like them…i recognice a civilian from Airfix station passenger converted into, maybe, the Kaiser himself..i don't know what is your feelings but, for me, Airfix WW1 German Infantry still are the most charming WW1 sets produced and i still prefer to use them for my projects

"Very, very old," Armand!! They can't be all that old because I remember when they came out. I bought my first sets of Airfix WWI figures back in the late '60's when Airfix first issued them.

Hmph! Very, very old indeed!

8^) In case you hadn't guessed.

And, by the way, like ITALWARS, I recognize many of them, think they are still great figures. Looking at them sets me to mulling over whether or not they could be used to create the Salonika campaign I've always thought about doing.

There was a series in Airfix magazine on converting figures to supplement the WWI range – that would have been late 60's IIRC or maybe early 70's.

I'm NOT that old. Really I'm not.

Marching Airfix WW2 Russian infantry converted to pickelhaub WW1 Germans, if I'm not mistaken.
