Just as an aside the competitors had packed up for their lunch at the end of the morning battle. I think most of them were getting ready for another day and a half of battles.

Ah, thanks, I can change that.

Hi Norm

Thanks for a really positive review! The event is actually organised by the British Historical Games Society, but EMHGS are one of the local clubs ho help us out a huge amount so no worries with plenty of the kudos going to them.

A sensible mix of traders, demos and competitors is tough to pull off but we do try our best, and perhaps the best endorsement of that is that the Bolt Action setup you described is actually one of our competition periods with players taking part in the Bolt Action tourney on those tables… So if Gary and Colin were helpful enough that you thought it was a demo game, that's about as good an endorsement as we could possibly hope for!!

The show is open until 2pm on Sunday too, and is still free so if anyone wants to come along please feel free

Tim

Thanks Tim / Cliff.

Tim, I have amended the text to reflect your points and keep things accurate (recognise the work of BHGS and added an edit to the Pegasus game).

Cheers Norm.
