Plans for "The Weekend 2015" are continuing apace. The "Theme" for that weekend is the Wars of the 18th century (for all that a theme at a convention means.) This year though we can hone a little closer to that. Five GM's have signed up to do something on the Seven Years War to showcase the world-wide nature of the conflict. One battle will be in Europe, one in North America, one in India, one in the Caribbean, and one a mini-campaign. We are hoping for more, as well as a heavy dose of the other periods as well. Those interested in "The Weekend 2015" which is held at the Continental Hotel, 2285 Lincoln Highway East, Lancaster PA, should contact me at sigurd@eclipse.net. Send me your postal address and I will mail out convention materials to you. |

I suppose I better get off my arse and get my game together… I'm thinking North America. I may see about a little Caribbean something. Or maybe French Louisiana… Eric |

One of the ones in June… Eric |

The weekend will be that of June 18th to June 21st. Thursday June 18th is usually just the Kickoff Dinner and unloading into the ballroom (we have roll-on roll off right to the game room. This year we are exploring if there is enough interest to put on games that night as well. Friday June 29th and Saturday June 20th is dawn to 0:dark 30 gaming. Sunday the 21st is mostly just a breakfast in the morning and socializing as we all go off home, tired and gamed out but still wanting more. |

And now that may be a problem… We're scheduled for Annual Training the last two weeks of June. Hmmm… Maybe I could do something spectacularly asinine and be relieved of command beforehand… Or not. Maybe we'll be lucky and go to FT Dix. I'll escape for an evening. Eric |

Actually, I can do a War of Spanish Succession game with no problem. Ciao, Colonel Bill ageofeagles.com |

I would like to come, did I mention that I'm retired? (Yayyyyyy). If IF IF I can get my arse in gear, I would be willing to do a large Crimean War battle using "rank and file" rules. I'm hoping to premier this collection at cincycon 2015. Please note, they are unfashionably shiny (to quote a favored blog I follow). Old school and look like tiny Britains, no painting awards here, but a jigger of bourbon would be in order. |

Dear Clays Russians Glad to have you come! Always eager to make new friends. Thanks also for volunteering for the Game. We'd love to play it. Please send me your postal delivery address to sigurd@eclipse.net and I will send you the After-Action Report/Keepsake Booklet from last year and the convention invite. It will also put you on the mailing list to get the four quarterly update booklets we publish throughout the year to keep you updated. Thanks again Otto |
