Once upon a time, I wrote a small set of rules up for Stargate games to play at a local convention. I played around with broadening them into a wider range of categories. Here are the WIP rules, if anyone cares to take a look. It isn't meant to be hard or complex, just a simple quickplay game. Thoughts? link |

Thanks, Glen. I'll have a look. |

Interesting. I really like the simple approach and the Fate points add another tactical dimension to the game. The point values will have to be playtested to see how far they go until they 'break' but are worth looking at. My only quibble, and this is just my personal preference, is adding modifiers after rolling the dice. I like knowing what I need to roll before I thrown the dice. In any case, thanks for posting them, and you might put them up on freewargamesrules.co.uk |

I actually found that the use of the objectives is what made the games most interesting. But yeah the point of Fate was to make Heroic characters have an edge that was easy to track. |
