I think the Bavarians still had the tournister in 1806, rather than the conventional backpack/rolled greatcoat you have shown – your guy is more 1809-1812 (arguably, overalls were worn in the field more than the short gaiters, even in the earlier period – there's a painting by Koebl of the siege of Closen showing infantry in greatcoats and overalls with the tournister). Do you intend expanding this range, or is it just a sample of your skills in order to encourage commissions? |

Yes, tell us more about yourself. I really did not understand the website. Great pictures of what you can do, not quite clear why you were doing these particular individual figures. Were they specifically commissioned? Are you offering to produce a range of Bavarians, or just this figure en masse, or is just a very impressive advert of what you can do? and yes…..his step is a little overdone…a minor criticism though! |

to add some minor criticism – it is a Bavarian of 1812 and not of 1806 – see Supercillius Maximus comments above – for more solid suggestions Nice sculpting |
