Some beauty shots of a fair-sized flock of Harook from Mad Robot. Extremely well cast minis, very clean with minimal prep work required, and they display an excellent range of poses and weaponry. The integral bases are a bit thicker than I prefer on some of the figs, but that's a minor quibble at worst. It does add to their height, which accentuates their alien nature since they're already somewhat taller than a human in scale.

I went for a parrot-inspired color scheme instead of the more vulturelike look on the catalog page, which makes them a lot more colorful but takes some extra time and effort.

Love to see the range expanded, perhaps with a troop of jump infantry armed with carbines or pistols. Flying troops seem very appropriate for an avian species, after all.

Nice I have never seen them before.

In addition to this line expanding (and as an owner of a large-ish flock of them (so my money and mouth are same place)), I'd love to see them in 28mm like the human sci-fi troops he's made.

Trading emails with Mad Robot, it appears the sculptor has been preoccupied. Unfortunate, since the original plan was to do quite a few more figures, including vehicles.

Maybe someday, though.
