I was wanting some pomegranate trees for 1879 Afghanistan and I just received these from Realistic Modelling in the UK. I am very pleased with them. I like the fact that each looks a little different and they come already based on irregularly shaped bases.Even have pomegranates on them. Approximately 2 inches tall.

They could also be used for apple trees. Very nice. |

They could be used as apple trees but when you bite into the fruit everyone would know that they were pomegranates. |

Rhingyll, those are some great looking trees. They will look really cool on your amazing table!!! Have you ever thought about running a game at a con? Your set up is amazing and I'm sure it would draw a huge crowd. Cheers, JB |

SgtGuinness: My table is honestly not all that great. I used to have a ping pong table but it was scrapped by the wife. I now use 3 foot by 6 foot folding tables and just put a mat over them. My scenery and terrain really sucked and then I got inspired by the Madguru. I began to focus on that as much or more than on the figures. In fact, I liked constructing it much more than painting figures. The rules I use are Colonial Adventures which allows me to play solo a lot as there are not many colonial gamers in my area. My wife and I have to share a car so transporting scenic elements to a Con would be an issue as she needs the car probably more than I. I wish I lived closer to Madguru as I like his work and would like to contribute to his efforts. In an earlier post you had mentioned that you did not have any of the 72nd Highlanders. I tried to PM you but could not. I have ended up with about 25 extra of painted 72nd that I think look very nice. Officers, sergeants, drummer, bugler and other ranks.I want these to go to a good home so I am not going to random list these on ebay. If you would like to give me your email address I can send you pictures of them They will be reasonably priced. |

Rhingyll, Your table does rock, I've seen many photos…lol. The Mad Guru has also inspired me as well. The two of you have trully set the bar for NWF gaming set ups! I find that the games I remember and enjoy the most have been the ones with killer terrain. I'm in the midst of redoing a lot of my old stuff as my skill has increased since I started. I'd love to see pics of the Highlanders and have a shot at purchasing them. Please email me at jbaumal @ yahoo dot com. Cheers, JB |
