Here is a selection of my 10mm Russian transport – at least the ones I have done so far:

Mostly Pithead (who do great trucks) and some nice Pendraken halftrack trucks.

Great stuff! Who makes the halftracks, I'm not familiar with those? Nevermind, I need to read more often!

The Halftracks are Pendraken – have a look at my page on manufacturers for links

the code for the halftrack is SV51

Great models. Things have come on in the last 20 years! Do you remember MERCATOR 1/200th. There was also some card tanks in 1/150 (1973?)that used a popper to join the turret to the hull. They were printed on grey, sand , olive card etc…They were cheap, but hard work to assemble?

I was in to 1/76 and 1/72 in the 70s and my first memory of 1/200 was Skytex – a bit blobby! nothing like the crisp detail you can get now (I did dabble in GHQ 1/300 modern but despite fantastic detail they just don't have the right feel for me on the wargames tables, particularly infantry)

For me 10 mm is THE scale for WW2. I have quite a lot of 20mm and 6mm, but I think the detail on 10 mm is now so good that it beats both. Really looking forward to Battlegroup Blitzkrieg coming out so I can use my 10 mm early war stuff and put together a Polish force for 1939 as well.
Really nice models Steve, you have a brilliant collection.

Very nice. What manufacturer are those Quad AA on the back of Gaz trucks? Been looking for those…

The quad AA on the Gaz truck are Pithead – it comes as a set. There is a link on my WW2 manufacturer page at the top of the blog
