Can one buy singles from the AB line? I could uses couple of squad leader types, and BAR gunners for my US platoon.

Eureka in Australia sells singles. Postage might be excessive for just a couple of figures though.

If you are in the US, you should check with Rob at Eureka USA. He may have singles or possibly get them with his stock order to save you shipping. Either way, Eureka is great to deal with.

Thanks for the quick responses. Thanks Rob. I know the difficulties with the request for singles. May just have to add another squad or team to get the BAR gunner and Thompson armed characters.

There is an officer and radio men set, which has Thompson types. I think Foundry do a "support weapons" pack, with a couple of BAR gunners. They fit quite well with AB; the foundry were sculpted by the Perrys. Warmodelling do a set of BAR gunners and an officers pack, size wise these match AB, but are not such crisp sculpts.

Singles? Hmm good dream. I want to do each of my AB US '43 uniform guys in 3 poses (standing, kneeling/crouching and prone.) I bought 1 each of the '43 sets and with conversion I have got about 7 guys in all three poses with matching equipment and weapons. However, annoyingly there's no kneeling/crouching BAR gunner. I head swapped the standing BAR gunner to make his helmet match the prone but no kneeling…might have to order another set or two and bisect the standing BAR guy to stick him on a kneeling set o legs…my life…
