I run Grekwood Miniatures, and will be sending some stuff off to a caster this month, but I currently have some free space. I may end up filling this up, but if I don't…

Are there any awesome sculptors out there who would want a mini they have sculpted cast up in metal (and wouldn't mind it being sold on our website). Preferably 28mm scale.

Obviously like other companies have done in the past, by giving us the sculpt you would relinquish your rights/claim to it, but as a thank you will get a couple of master castings for yourself, and credit on the website (as well as any links you may want).

It's just a thought as I hate sending off a mould with some empty spaces. If you're interested, then post a photo of the mini here, or email me at grekwoodminis@btinternet.com with a photo and if I don't fill the space up, I'll let you know :)

I have an almost finished pig… monk… thingy. Basically a pig in a monk's robe. If I recall correctly, it's only lacking hands/hoofs/claws/whatever pigmonkthingies usually have at the end of their arms/front legs/OK I give up.

It's sculpted using fimo, which may be a problem as it won't withstand vulcanisation like green stuff does.

Will post photo soon.

Ah yeah I wouldn't be able to use Fimo in the mould. I wouldn't want to risk destroying your mini either :(

I'd still love to see the photos though, it sounds pretty cool! :D

I did this a few years ago, it started out as sculpting practice, turned into a pig, then a pigmonkthingy. Then I didn't know how to finish it so it's been lying in a drawer since.

haha nice!! That's a really cool pig-monk-thingy! He reminds me of something…but I can't think what lol

Lovely pig.

Painted by Hieronymus Bosch in 1503?

No no no, that's a pig-nun-thingy. Quite different from pig-monk-thingies.

(And now I have to finish the sculpt so I can paint it, complete with lipstick :)

That I have to see! :P
