Does anyone makes these? Liberation has them listed but they are not available. |

Try emailing Liberation or contacting him via his forum excoboard.com/RHMODELS. I had the same problem and he was been very helpful and supplied some figures that were listed as unavailable. |

Thanks Dave. I tried emailing but have had no response. May well be on holiday. I think this project is going to be tricky. Need to look for 37mm vz.37 AT but can't seem to. Plus the old man might have to make some officers and radio operators. |

The tricky projects are the best fun :-) Raventhorpe make a Czech 37mm. It's in their German range. Planet Models also make an expensive, highly detailed, resin kit. I used IT Miniatures WW1 Germans with Liberation Slovak heads for a company commander and field telephone operator. |

Thanks for that Dave. I think conversion is the best way. Do you know the organisation of a rifle platoon, in terms of numbers per section and platoon command? |

There is a thread about Slovak organisations on the Axis History Forum link I found the breakdown there a bit confusing but it says that organisation remained the same as the pre-war Czech army. That's laid out more clearly at link However in `First Axis', the Panzer Grenadier board game scenario book (which I've found a good source of miniatures scenario ideas), it says Slovak platoons had 45 men and they went from 4 platoons to 3 in line with German practice. I also have The Micromark list for a Czech infantry Division 1938-39 and that says a platoon was a 4 man HQ and 4 8 man sections with 2 man LMG teams held in a separate Support Company. Confusing ! |
