Rumour has it, Perry Miniatures are going to release a 1914 Commemoration Special in early-August – what do you know, what can you find out?

If anyone can crack this one Tango01, it's you. No pressure, but we are all watching.

As if the posts BY Tango01 aren't bad enough, now there're post ABOUT him cluttering my front page….

Dr. Raùl Alberto de la Cruz skims the internet and casts widely. He finds stuff that I would never discover. I thank him for the variety he offers.

If the Perry Brothers did WWI in plastic, I would jump without a doubt.

I support Armand's posts, and his right to post things that are useful or interesting to many of us.

Well Warlord announced on their newsletter today that they're doing WW1 tanks in 28mm (Resin and Metal).

They look very nice too.

I was hoping the Perrys would spend the next ten years concentrating on bringing out plastic kits for the War of the Roses. Oh we'll that's life.

At least he is posting about miniatures, miniature related or directly war gaming related topics. I'd have a problem if he was just posting random rubbish.

I have never asked why I have ignores and stifles. People are free to ignore and stifle me to their heart's content. More power to them.

I just try to avoid you(r posts) by ignoring YOU (the only one I ever stifled or ignored) and then someone starts threads ABOUT you instead of going off and look for the damned Perry stuff himself! Take control people! Using Google should be within your grasp!

Give Tango a break. Although I did find his daily proliferation of TMP posts on topics which may or may not have any relevance to wargaming vexing at first, I'm used to it by now.

Besides, he is a learned man with two PhD's and is a rather pleasant fellow if you ever get the chance to 'converse' with him.

I've conditioned myself to selectively choose which of his posts to click on, even when they end with …… an incomplete sentence to try and hook you in.

Don't be daft. If you'd read someone's comments once in a while instead of spamming the site all day you'd remember that I unstifled you as soon as I discovered stifling you didn't clean up my front page. And you would know as well that Ignoring you only removes your original postings from the front page, not your replies from a thread.

I have never gotten the Tango01 hate… Armand posts some really cool stuff that I would not normally look for or run into. The scroll button is a very efficient tool if you don't want to see it. Honestly Armand keep up the great finds. I wish I had the time to surf the webs like you do.

Another vote for Tango 01

Armand does a great service bringing minutes and wargame pages to us

Altefriz, I have long ago figured it out. He has more hours in a day than the rest of us. (his constant travel around the world always east to west).

As long as people aren't posting hate comments, threats or posts that just aren't relevant then I welcome all posts. Some people are very good and finding stuff that I have neither the time nor the patience to find, Tango is one of those people.

My vote is for Tango01 as well :D

I used to think Tango was incredibly annoying but then someone invented 'ignore''. So I ignored him. On both my accounts.

The problem is, I still think he is incredibly annoying but now I don't exactly know why.

I suspect it's his shoes. That's it, I don't like his shoes.

Not that I ever see them. How could I? I've ignored him.

But I know he is wearing them; and that bugs the crap out of me.

I have to say that in the past, I was one of those who didn't like Tango's way of very frequent posting to the front page and I supported the introduction of the ignore button and the 400 post front page. However, apart from testing ignore back when it was causing problems with thre front page I haven't needed to use it. Now that I have a front page of 400 posts I find that things I am following don't get pushed from the front page any more.
I also find myself actually reading some Tango posts occaisionally and I have to admitt they can be useful sometimes.
